Why do you make to order?

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable fashion all Young Squad products are made once you place your order. They are hand cut and then delivered to highly experienced seamstresses who will sew your order just for you. This method decreases the wastage of fabric and of finished garments.

What are the delivery charges?

At Young Squad we want to make shipping as easy as possible so we have a $7.95 flat rate shipping fee with in Australia and a $25 Flat rate shipping fee for all international orders. These rates include tracking of your parcel.

All orders over $100 AUD receive free shipping within Australia and New Zealand

All orders over $175 AUD receive free shipping internationally.

How long will delivery take?

All products are made to order unless otherwise stated. Please allow up to 3 weeks for production

Young Squad uses Australia Post to deliver our products.

Australia: delivery is between 2-6 working days.

International: delivery is up to 14 working days.

Due to the ongoing COVID crisis these shipping time can vary. 

Where do you deliver?

We deliver all over the world! Where ever you live we can deliver!

What if I need to return or exchange my item?

No problem! Young Squad offers free 14 day returns for Australian residents!


We want to ensure that you’re 100% happy with your purchase.  We’ll happily exchange your purchase providing the item is unworn, in resellable condition and within 14 days from the date you item was dispatched.

Please note:     Free exchanges are only available for your first purchase.  

After that you may exchange but return postage cost will be at the customers expense.  Young Squad will however cover the postage back to you.

Follow these easy steps for your first exchange:

  • Contact us with in 2 days of receiving the product explaining why you need to exchange your item.
  • We will email you a printable pre paid label that you can attach to the parcel.
  • re package your item in its original packaging or a new envelope if needed, place the label that was emailed to you on the envelope.
  • lodge the parcel at your nearest post office or post box.

If you’d prefer to exchange your item for a different style or size, you can do so as long as the value of the new item is the same or less value. We’ll even cover the cost to send the exchanged item back to you. If you do want to exchange faster, we recommend placing a new order and sending the original item back for a refund.

Free exchanges are only available for customers in Australia.

For all international purchases: please re package and return your item (unworn and in resellable condition) via your local postal service using a trackable method of postage. Unfortunately this will be at a cost to the buyer. Once received your exchange can be arranged.


We take great care to make sure your item is of the highest quality.  However, if for some reason we stuffed up and your item arrives not in tip top shape then we are happy to refund or exchange.

Please follow the above steps for refund.  Once item is returned a full refund of product value at time of purchase will be given.  

Please note: unlike exchanges the cost of returning goods for refund is the responsibility of the customer. 

We do not give refunds if you change your mind.

Custom made items will only be refunded if they are faulty.

How secure is shopping in the online shop? Will my data be protected?

Our site is protected by an SSL certificate which means your information and card details are fully protected.

In addition we have the latest software installed to prevent hacking.

Can I order custom made products?

Yes! Most of our products are able to be customised. Please email me at with the details of which items you’d like customised and I’ll get back to you!

Please note: Swimwear can be customised using the styles and prints already available. i.e you would like a print only available in childrens’ swimwear made as an adult one piece etc.  Complimenting solid colours can also be changed upon request.

Depending on the product there may be an extra fee charged for customisation.

Please note: refunds will not be given on custom made unless the item is faulty.

Exchanges for a different size are allowed on custom made but on first order only.

I have a promotional code. How do I use it?

When you are ready to checkout, simply add the promotional code into the box in your shopping bag. If the code is valid, the relevant discount will be applied to your order.

What if my promotional code isn't working?

If for some reason your promotional code isn’t working on the website, then be sure to check if the product meets the terms & conditions listed on the offer. This may include:

  • Minimum spend amount
  • Expiry date
  • Product exclusions
