The Aussie Birds collection is a colourful explosion representing the vibrant birdlife that resides in Australia. From cockatoos and Galahs to the Rosellas and Lorikeets the Australian backyard is a concophany of bird sounds! And its this vibe I wanted to capture in the collection.
ABOUT THE RASH SHIRT
The Aussie Birds long sleeve rash shirt is the perfect sun smart addition to your swimsuit wardrobe.
This fabulous print is complemented by purple sleeves and side panels. You’ll be easily spotted on the beach!
The rash vest has a zip up front making it easy to put on and off. The zip is a moulded plastic chunky style and is durable enough to withstand both sea and pool water.
I’m thrilled to now offer different sleeve lengths on all rash vests. Choose from either capped, short or long sleeve from the drop down menu.

Each rash shirt is made from single layer printed lycra and is not lined which makes it quicker drying.
Young Squad uses luxury Italian lycra and lining that utilises recycled plastic bottles in its production making it eco friendly and sustainable.

The fabric used to make these swimsuits is printed by a local Gold Coast business.The swimsuits are made by highly skilled seamstresses on the Gold Coast. Each seamstress has over 20 years experience sewing lycra and some have sewn for big brands including Billabong in the past.

Young Squad is proud to be able to offer these swimsuits in plus size options in fitting with the philosophy that even BODY is a beach body.
Please note these rash vests are a slimmer, body hugging fit especially around the bicep. If you prefer a looser fit I suggest up sizing.
Available in sizes 8 – 24 Models are wearing size 22.

Let’s face it we’re not all the same shape and size! That’s what makes us unique. If you need a simple size customisation like leg circumference altered or lengthening swimsuit slightly please leave a note at checkout with changes in centimetres needed. If you require more complex customisation please contact me here Please note: some customisations may incur extra costs depending on complexity.

Please note I have tried to represent the colours on this swimsuit as best as possible. Differences in screen types and photography lighting can cause some slight discrepancies. Pattern placement will also differ between garments.
