SHIPPING AND RETURNS

SHIPPING

At Young Squad we want to make shipping as easy as possible so we have a $10 flat rate shipping fee with in Australia, $15 flat rate to New Zealand and a $25 flat rate shipping fee for all international orders. These rates are for standard parcel post and include tracking of your parcel.

All orders over $100.00 AUD receive free standard shipping within Australia.

All order over $150.00 AUD receive free standard shipping to New Zealand.

All orders over $200.00 AUD receive free standard shipping internationally.

Express shipping is also available at checkout for an extra cost.  If your order qualifies for free shipping express postage will be added as an extra cost and does not comprise the free shipping component.

Young Squad uses Australia Post and/or other reputable courier companies to deliver our products.

Australia: delivery is between 2-6 working days.

International: delivery is up to 14 working days.

These times are based on information from Australia Post website.  Times may vary depending on circumstances.  Young Squad will not be held liable for delays in postage once your items have been dispatched from our headquarters.

Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with Australia Post or the courier company directly and we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of Young Squad

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable fashion all Young Squad products are made once you place your order. They are hand cut and then delivered to highly experienced seamstresses who will sew your order just for you. This method decreases the wastage of fabric and of finished garments.  Please allow up to 3 weeks from date of purchase for production of your items

Delivery times commence once your order has been made by our seamstresses and packaged.

If there is a delay in production of your order we will notify you via the email attached to your order of the delay and an expected completion date.

Once your order has been completed and posted you will receive a confirmation email with shipping details and relevant tracking numbers.

International Customs and Duties – If you purchase goods from us for delivery to a destination outside Australia your purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes applied by the destination country. You are responsible for paying any such duties or taxes. Please contact your local customs office for more information before making a purchase. We are not responsible for the payment of any such duties or taxes and are not liable for any failure by you to pay them.

RETURNS

It is important to us that your swimmers fit properly and you feel comfortable wearing them. We want to ensure that you’re 100% happy with your purchase so we’ll happily exchange, refund or credit your purchase providing the item is unworn and in original condition up to 28 days from the date you receive your item.  To help you work out your sizing and whether Young Squad swimwear is the right fit for you we also offer free 14 day returns on your first order.

To request a refund or exchange please email linda@youngsquadonline.com.au within 5 days of receiving your item and include the following information:

– Your name

– Your order number

– Reason for return

– Request for: refund, store credit or exchange.

ELIGIBILITY FOR EXCHANGE, REFUND OR STORE CREDIT.

Too be eligible for an exchange, refund or store credit you must meet the following criteria:

  • must have received item within last 28 days
  • free exchanges available to Australian residents only on their first purchase and up to 14 days after receiving goods.
  • Please ensure that swimwear is tried on over your underwear in the interests of hygiene.
  • items must be unworn (other than trying on), unwashed and in original condition. (please try on carefully as and items returned with stains, make up or deodorant marks or smell strongly of odour will not be eligible for refund, exchange or credit)
  • Items must be returned with all tags and hygiene labels in place.
  • Only full priced items are eligible for exchange or refund.
  • All items marked SALE will qualify for store credit only unless they are found to be faulty on arrival.  Any faulty item will be refunded.

EXCHANGES

Young Squad offers free exchanges up to 14 days from receiving your item. Free exchanges are only available for Australian residents on your first purchase.

After that you may exchange (up to 28 days) but return postage cost to Young Squad will be at the customers expense.  Young Squad will however cover the postage back to you.

Follow these easy steps for your first free exchange:

  • Contact us with in 5 days of receiving the product explaining why you need to exchange your item.
  • We will email you a printable pre paid label that you can attach to the parcel.
  • re package your item in its original packaging or a new envelope if needed, place the label that was emailed to you on the envelope.
  • lodge the parcel at your nearest post office or post box.

For all other exchanges please contact us at linda@youngsquadonline.co.au with in 5 days for information on exchanges or refunds.

If you’d prefer to exchange your item for a different style or size, you can do so. If the replacement item is of a greater value the customer will be responsible to the extra costs. If the replacement item is less than the original a refund for the difference will be given.

All items exchanged will require production time.  We do endeavour to “rush” exchange items however in some circumstances production may still take the full 3 weeks.  Exchanged items will not be sent until the original item has been returned.

For all international purchases: please re package and return your item (unworn and in resellable condition) via your local postal service using a trackable method of postage. Unfortunately this will be at a cost to the buyer. Once received your exchange can be arranged.

REFUNDS

We take great care to make sure your item is of the highest quality.  However, if for some reason we stuffed up and your item arrives not in tip top shape then we are happy to refund or exchange.

Items marked SALE are not eligible for refund unless delivered faulty but the customer will be offered a store credit to the value of the item.

We accept refund requests for goods sold on our site for any of the following reasons:

  • –  Good is damaged on arrival;
  • –  Good does not match description; or
  • –  Good is the wrong size.

If you require a refund please email linda@youngsquadonline.com.au within 5 days of receiving your goods.

Once the item is returned a full refund for the product value at time of purchase will be given. The cost of returning goods for refund is the responsibility of the customer.

The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.  Please make sure they are packed in a way that prevents damage and use a trackable method of delivery.

Make sure you use a postal service that insures you for the value of the items you are returning and obtain proof of posting.

Young Squad has the right to refuse a refund if the item returned is not in original condition, obviously worn or damaged by customer and / or has been received by customer more than 28 days prior.

Refunds are usually processed 2-3 business days after receiving goods.

Refunds will be made according to the method of payment at the time of purchase. Where the purchase was made by a debit or credit card the refund will be made to this card, provided the cardholder is present and in possession of the card otherwise an exchange will be offered.

Please note a refund back onto a debit or credit card can take between 5 and 10 working days.
All are refunds are processed in AUD (Australian dollars).

We do not give refunds if you change your mind.

Custom made items will only be refunded if they are faulty. 

STORE CREDIT

You can request a store credit instead of a refund or exchange however you must meet the eligibility criteria above.

Sale items are eligible for store credit only unless delivered faulty.

Store credit will be issued in the form of a coupon code to the value of the original item purchased and will not include the original cost of shipping. Example: you buy a hat worth $42 and shipping is $10 then store credit will be for $42.

All store credits will have an expiry date.  Please be sure to note down the date on which your credit expires.
